Can you give me briefly objects of Prince of

Wales relief movement. Unofficial members of Council propose to

raise public subscriptions and ask that amount equal to public subscriptions should be granted from colonial funds. Are you prepared to approve such arrangements. I would prefer any colonial grant should be limited to definite sum say $100000

to begin with.
